Читатель: -- for this Victory Day holiday issue we at the eXile want you to think about the other Russian shoe that's about to drop: the return of Russia's military supremacy. That's right, for as long as people in the West have been writing off Russia's economic future, they've also been dismissive over Russia's military, derided as a pitiful force horribly dated and demoralized. Over and over, Russia has been told to get over its "superpower complex," meaning that Russia should accept "reality" and learn to take its place as a medium-to-insignificant geopolitical power. No one in the West takes Russia's military resurgence seriously yet. They think that America is "the world's only superpower," as if it's true simply because it's a mantra repeated over and over. That's because they're slow in waking up. Just consider this: while America is stuck in a worsening quagmire in Iraq, its military stretched to the breaking point, Russia has managed to just about completely quell Chechnya, a war which supposedly could not be won. Its losses are miniscule compared to America's. And with tens of thousands of soldiers having tasted victory, they're hungry for more. Russia is also developing numerous weapons systems which nullify most of America's weapons-technology advantages, including new-generation surface-to-air missiles and evasive ballistic missiles. And there are new weapons which you don't even know about yet. We at the eXile see the writing on the wall. And the writing says this: "Russia is going to conquer and occupy your fucking country." You poor fools have no idea what's about to hit you. If you want an idea, rent Red Dawn, then imagine it without the happy ending. This time, there won't be any jock partisans making trouble for our Russian liberators. That's because this time Russia is going to do it right. They're hiring local puppets to help them run things. And we are just the puppets to do it. That's right. On this Victory Day, we're announcing that we're officially becoming "traitors" to America. We are working actively with various organs in the Russian security ministries to ensure that once America has been liberated from bandit formations and foreign terrorists, the eXile is offering its services as part of the local loyalist structure. You see folks, we just want to see things run smoothly in our homeland. The plan is to have the editorial staff helicoptered in somewhere over Colorado, where we'll help our Russian friends hunt down every jock with a rifle to ensure the complete liquidation of illegal jock-bandit formations. Why are we turning coat? Because we like winners. America is failing faster than its dollar, while Russia is growing more and more powerful by the day. America is run by a moron, while Putin is like Einstein next to Bush. In short, Russia is the team to beat. What we ask of our readers in America, and of all Americans, is that when the operation to liberate you comes, you remain calm and stay in your houses. Once major operations are done, we ask that you work together with us to build a new, more Russian America. For those of you who understand where the future lies, wait for our signal. For those of you who resist, all we can say is...if you've ever read Dr. Dolan's Torture Tips, then you'll know that resistance is not only futile, but also, well, it would be best if your closest kin didn't get a look at your remains. This May 9th, the big Victory Parade is being held in Moscow and cities throughout Russia. It won't be long before Russian soldiers celebrate a new Victory Day in Washington, D.C.
